Terms & conditions
These terms govern use of the EirPlate website and orders placed for personalised signs through the 3D designer.

About these terms
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. EirPlate provides an online design service and sells made-to-order physical house signs. Contact is available through our contact page.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract to place an order.
Your design and order
You are responsible for checking the spelling, Eircode, dimensions, colours, finish, mounting option and delivery details before payment. The order summary records the configuration submitted for production.
The 3D preview is intended to represent your choices clearly, but screen colours, lighting and scale can vary between devices. Minor differences inherent in materials and made-to-order production are not defects.
You must not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or misleading text. We may refuse or cancel a design that cannot reasonably or lawfully be produced.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro. The website recalculates the price from the selected size and finish on the server before checkout. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; EirPlate does not receive or store full card details.
Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we issue an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and refund the amount paid.
Production, delivery and risk
Production and delivery estimates are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed dates. We are not responsible for delays outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise their effect.
Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address provided. Ownership passes when full payment is received.
See Delivery & returns for the current delivery area, tracking and problem-reporting process.
Cancellations, returns and statutory rights
Because each sign is made to your specification, the distance-selling change-of-mind cancellation right does not generally apply once production begins. Contact us immediately if you want to request a cancellation.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods will be handled in accordance with those rights.
Website availability and liability
We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every device will display the 3D preview identically.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Irish courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
We may revise these terms prospectively. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
